We visited the Kings Mountain Battlefield Park on December 5th following our visit to Cowpens.

Present were Carson, Betty, Anthony, Anna, Chris, Lisa, and Andrea.  We found the staff friendly and helpful.  Since we were tired when we arrived, we didn't spend the amount of time here that we would have liked.  We will investigate this location further.  Of particular interest is the grave of Col. Ferguson and the story of ghostly messengers who ride from here to Salisbury.

Our next visit will likely be a camp in visit in the Spring 2001.
